You’ve Had an Energy Session - Now What?

You’ve just completed an energy session with me. We've released energies that were no longer serving you—and now the session comes to a close. So, what happens next?

What to Expect After a Session

Processing energy looks different for everyone. It depends on your individual energy state before the session and the specific imbalances we released. Most people process within one to three days.

About 20% of clients experience noticeable symptoms, such as:

  • Feeling tired, irritable, or unusually sensitive

  • Trouble sleeping or feeling more emotional

  • Mild physical discomfort or swelling as the body heals

  • In rare cases, a slight fever or temporary flu-like symptoms

On the flip side, many feel:

  • Lighter and more energized

  • More optimistic and emotionally balanced

  • An increased sense of clarity and peace

No two sessions are the same—even for the same person—so know that whatever comes up is part of your body’s natural healing process.

How to Support Your Body During Processing

1. Stay Hydrated
Water is a powerful conductor for energy movement. Drinking extra water after your session helps flush out released energies and reduces the risk of feeling unwell. Aim to drink more than usual for a day or two.

2. Pause Additional Energy Work
Some forms of energy healing (like Reiki or acupuncture) may be fine, but avoid Body Code or Belief Code sessions until your processing window is complete. Doing too much at once can overwhelm your system and diminish the benefits of the session you just had.

3. Move Your Body
Gentle movement—like walking, stretching, or yoga—can support energy flow and help your system recalibrate more easily.

4. Be Patient With Yourself
If you feel “off” for a day or two, that’s okay. Some energetic releases are more intense, especially if you’ve been holding certain imbalances for a long time. Give yourself permission to rest, recharge, and let the work unfold.

Final Thoughts

Remember: there’s nothing to fear about processing. Living with years (or decades) of trapped energies and/or imbalances is much harder than allowing your body a few days to adjust. Even if you experience mild discomfort, you’re doing deep, transformational work. Give yourself grace and be proud of the work your mind and body are doing.

Your Next Step

Pay attention to how you feel in the coming days—and celebrate the shifts, big or small. When you’re ready for your next layer of healing, I’d love to support you again.
